Creatures of a Day”
Everytime I read his works, I could always learn something and this time, I see how important the relationship between shrink and client means to the therapy. And he also mentioned a small trick when the session comes to an stagnant phase you could always use the “review” process to draw both attentions back to here-and-now. But above all, he wrote:
The most important thing I, or any other therapist, can do is offer an authentic healing relationship from which patients can draw whatever they need. We delude ourselves if we think that some specified action, be it an interpretation, suggestion, relabeling, or reassurance, is the healing factor.
